If you upload your dinos does your survivor have to be the same on another server, or if I upload a Dino can all my characters use information technology?

Let's but say u transfer a Dino and u don't wanna accept ur survivor to the other server can u still go the tame and not use aforementioned survivor?

I'm new to ark my beginning time and I was curious if I could transfer items or not. Thanks for the guide-im STILL learning things as I go.
Tho I wish the game included what buttons to push for what at the beginning like a tutorial-man was I frustrated lol

Information technology all depends on the server settings for the server you are on. The easiest style to test is to try to upload something you don't mind losing for each area. Couple pieces of thatch for the inventory and a dodo for the dinos.
Create a new character on the destination server and peek into a terminal to run into if that stuff is there. If so, yous tin can safely transfer over. If not, i of the two servers are no configured to allow transfers.
I auto-transferred my items into terminal and information technology simply stored them. Spawned on extinction and just dinos are in final. Constitute out we have to manually put the items in the "data" tab. At present I gotta go back to Rag and do it once again.... lol! Thx for sharing!!

I transferred a lot of my all-time dinos and items from ragnarok to the isle, including a high level wyvern I loved. When I got to the island, I started transferring and my game crashed. I lost everything.

Hey! I slap-up vid, i have a problem though with my singple player game, i can't seem to see whatever of the items i stored into my Ark, But my limit says 46/fifty five/20 for Dino's & 0-50 for Transmitter.
I'thousand agape to put anything else in there cuz i don't want to lose anymore items, how would i become about fixing this? also my Dino's the 5 that are in in that location wont let me accept whatever of them out, even though i can run across their names. Is at that place anyhow for me to set this? I bought Aberation & i desire to take some stuff over there with me.

Hey Arahli The Geek when you dont have anything uploaded in your obelisk you nevertheless have 24 item slots filled. At present theres a cap of 50 and i have the aforementioned problem, that i have a lot of the slots blocked by items that arent shown in the terminal but are saved in the PlayerLocalData. Do you know how you tin can delete these items?

When nosotros've had that issue on the Geeks Servers information technology meant that something was placed in the final or obelisk from a mod, and the mod was removed before the inventory was cleared.
Nosotros've fixed that past reinstalling the mod on the server, having the player articulate the inventory, and so removing the modernistic once again.

Tin can you transfer items to lower characters that belong to you on different arks ? Like ragnarok or scorched ?
How do yous know if the server your transferring to allows certain things? Does it say or practice you just test it? Also very useful and helpful video! Apart from the one question I accept this helped clean a lot of things upwards for me ^^ Give thanks yous!

Tin I transmit between single player maps? If then, does that mean I tin upload all creatures and items I don't intend to use against the Overseer, kickoff up Scorched World or Ragnarok, head to an obelisk, and instantly become all of my Dinos and Tek gear back without doing anything else?

Aforementioned question: can I move items from Rag to Island in single role player? The tames worked fine - they have a defended "upload" push button. The items I put in the Obelisk in Rag but show up on Rag, not on Island. At that place'south no "item" button to practice the upload, so what practise I demand to do to get my Rag ITEMS (tames piece of work fine) to Island?

Can you transfer from xplay PVE to not xplay PVE server ?
I tried transfering 2 cryopods from valgureo to extinction, and when I went to a city terminal tge cryopods were not at that place

Then if I were to transfer my pt will the saddle go with it or do I have to take the saddle off?? But other than that this actually helps becuase I idea it ment destroy the creature itself so I was scared to do it

Can u grab creatures loftier level in pvp and so keep them safe in pve..
I can ostend that this works on single player, merely I accept a couple of questions:
1. Does the 12 hour cooldown timer apply on single player and unofficial servers? If so, how do you change information technology to 0?
2. Stupid question, but can y'all transfer items across different obelisk colors? For case, if I put items into a light-green obelisk final, can I take hold of them off of, say, a bluish obelisk last?

LeTtRrZ To respond your 2d question, information technology doesn't accept to be the same color obelisk you uploaded to. You lot tin fifty-fifty pull dinos or items out of drops if y'all wanted.

Ok, I have done more testing with this on my offline servers. Item transfer is fine, just the first time I tried to download my level 505 wyvern, I clicked the download button, merely the wyvern did NOT appear. Thankfully I had a backup of my island save from before I transferred, then I was able to restore and get my wyvern dorsum. Support YOUR SAVES, PEOPLE!!!!!

GoodJobRacing equally long as the server is fix to allow transfers in and out of creatures and dinos, admittedly. You lot will want to check with the server admin to exist sure what is allowed.

No. Official servers don't permit in outside downloads to my knowledge.

Equally long as the server is set up to let detail uploads and downloads that can piece of work. You can't just place it in the inventory, you need to fully upload it, and so download it across the map.
What's the red timer on the items now
There's this bug where I can't see my ark data therefore can't get my stuff out of the terminal
Taking into account when this was uploaded, does this still apply the same mode, June 2019?

It does, I'd simply suggest checking out what the server settings are first. If the comments here are any indicator, a few people didn't check and lost stuff. Try uploading something small first.

+Jerry Swihart yep! Just send the stuff over. The characters are tied to your steam id, so if you lot is the aforementioned steam account when you log into either server you are good.

I read something where they used a cryo pod and when they got to the other server the cryo pod was died and the mount was gone

in thelittlesky to my understanding yes if yous put it in the ark information slot like whatsoever other item yous can retrieve it back and you'd accept the mount in the cryo pod, you wouldn't really have to do this for land mounts though every bit you can simply ride them upward to whatsoever you want to apply as a transfer and practise what he did in this video

That'south something your admin will need to change. In that location isn't a style to non accept a timer as far every bit I know, but you can ready it really high.
Have them wait for a setting called "TributeDinoExpirationSeconds" and set it to something like 31449600.
I joined in on some other friend's non dedicated on center to help tame a giga and brought over an argy and dire wolf. Transferred in, everything went well, uploaded once once again at trop South Isle and went dorsum to my own non dedicated (island). Downloaded survivor successfully, ran to ruddy ob, downloaded my argy, and didn't see/hear it and so I airtight the ob and tried to look around but couldn't find information technology. Decided to download the dire wolf to run across what would happen and it immediately downloaded. On Xbox ane quitting the game ordinarily doesn't save progression so I quit the game to hopefully get my argy back. Spawned in one time again and went to the ob to find neither in the ob or anywhere effectually information technology, dire wolf disappeared. Whatsoever thought what to exercise?
